Surgical eye care.
Done right, explained honestly.
We're a surgical practice — that's what we do best. Every procedure listed here is one Dr. Malitz performs regularly, not a menu padded to look impressive. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
What we operate on every week
Each of these is a procedure Dr. Malitz performs personally — your consultation, your surgery, your follow-ups.
LASIK & PRK
Custom laser vision correction for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. We offer both procedures and recommend based on your corneal anatomy — not our preference.
Cataract Surgery
No Needle, No Stitch technique with standard or premium lens options. The ENVY IOL is our premium lens of choice — selected after years of evaluating every major multifocal on the market.
Clear Lens Exchange
A LASIK alternative for patients over 45 with early lens changes. Same technique as cataract surgery, just earlier — corrects your vision now and prevents cataracts from ever developing.
Pterygium Surgery
No-Stitch removal of the fleshy growth that Las Vegas sun and wind are especially good at producing. We use an autograft technique for the lowest recurrence rates.
Glaucoma Surgery
When drops and laser aren't enough. We perform pressure-lowering procedures including MIGS (minimally invasive glaucoma surgery) — often combined with cataract surgery for patients who need both.
Blepharoplasty & Eyelid Surgery
Repair of drooping eyelids (ptosis) and excess skin that blocks your peripheral vision — or simply makes you look more tired than you are. Functional cases are often insurance-covered.
Beyond the operating room
Procedures and services that complement our surgical practice.
BOTOX® Cosmetic
Physician-administered BOTOX for crow's feet, frown lines, and forehead wrinkles. Because Dr. Malitz understands the anatomy around the eyes better than most — he operates on it.

YAG capsulotomy, laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI), and other in-office laser treatments. Quick, typically covered by insurance, and performed right in our Las Vegas clinic.
Learn more →Dry Eye Evaluation
Living in the desert means most people have some degree of dry eye. We diagnose and treat it — especially for patients preparing for surgery, where healthy tear film makes a real difference in outcomes.
Learn more →Recovery Guides
Detailed, procedure-specific recovery timelines written for Las Vegas patients — because post-op care in a desert climate is different from what generic handouts describe.

One surgeon. Every case.
Dr. Malitz does your consultation, performs your surgery, and handles your follow-ups. You're never handed off to someone you haven't met.
Red Rock Surgery Center
Our AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center. Same accreditation standards required of hospital outpatient departments — wholly owned and operated by Dr. Malitz.
Honest about what we don't do
We don't offer every procedure. If something isn't in our wheelhouse, we'll refer you to a colleague who does it better. That's not a limitation — it's a philosophy.
Not sure which procedure you need?
That's exactly what the consultation is for. Dr. Malitz will examine your eyes, explain what he finds, and tell you — honestly — whether surgery makes sense.
$200 consultation fee — applied as a credit toward your procedure if you move forward.
