Our Services

Southwest Eye Institute · Las Vegas, NV

Surgical eye care.
Done right, explained honestly.

We're a surgical practice — that's what we do best. Every procedure listed here is one Dr. Malitz performs regularly, not a menu padded to look impressive. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.

What we operate on every week

Each of these is a procedure Dr. Malitz performs personally — your consultation, your surgery, your follow-ups.

How We Work

A surgical practice, not a vision factory

One surgeon. Every case.

Dr. Malitz does your consultation, performs your surgery, and handles your follow-ups. You're never handed off to someone you haven't met.

Red Rock Surgery Center

Our AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center. Same accreditation standards required of hospital outpatient departments — wholly owned and operated by Dr. Malitz.

Honest about what we don't do

We don't offer every procedure. If something isn't in our wheelhouse, we'll refer you to a colleague who does it better. That's not a limitation — it's a philosophy.

Not sure which procedure you need?

That's exactly what the consultation is for. Dr. Malitz will examine your eyes, explain what he finds, and tell you — honestly — whether surgery makes sense.

$200 consultation fee — applied as a credit toward your procedure if you move forward.
